Privacy
What we collect, and why.
Understory collects only the information needed to send requested materials, respond to enquiries, coordinate fit-call requests, and understand which routes into the practice are useful.
Information you give us
Forms may ask for your name, email address, organization, role, a preferred call time, or a short description of the pattern you want to discuss. Please avoid including student names, medical information, or other sensitive personal details in free-text fields unless they are genuinely necessary.
Case-study requests
When you request Read the Conflict, we record the information you provide so we can deliver the resource and understand who is finding it useful. If you separately check the optional box for occasional notes, we also record that consent and the time it was captured. Leaving the box unchecked does not affect access to the case study.
Attribution and site use
During a browser session, the site may keep the page where your visit began, referral information and campaign parameters such as UTM source or campaign in session storage. If you later submit a form, those first-touch fields may be stored with that submission so Understory can tell which outreach or resource led to a real conversation. This first-touch context expires with the browser session unless it becomes part of a form submission. Understory does not sell personal information or use this data for advertising profiles.
Diagnostic answers
The Network Pattern Check can save its score and reading in session storage so the context can be carried into a fit-call request. The check itself does not require an email address, and its answers are not sent as a lead merely because you complete it.
Service providers
The website uses infrastructure and managed services, including Lovable and Supabase, to host site assets, store form submissions and send transactional email. Those providers process information only as needed to provide their services to Understory and according to their own applicable terms and privacy practices.
Retention and access
Understory keeps submitted information only as long as reasonably needed for the relationship, recordkeeping and legitimate business purposes. To ask what information we have about you, request a correction, or ask for deletion where applicable, email Andre directly.
